[board] Couple of Treasury Issues

Recognizing that our Directors retreat has a limited time and purpose, I
would like to bring two matters to the Board/

1).  We need a board action (motion/second/vote) to pay the bill for our
Directors and Officers liability insurance.   The annual premium is $857.

The board has previously agreed to continue with the insurance to ensure
against any litigation that might arise for activities conducted by the
MCBA (hive dives, fair days, etc).

2).  Month end July and August reports.   Column added to show prior year
actual and current year budget.

Highlights July:   Board agreed to renew and extend lease for Log Cabin
along with the necessary liability insurance

Highlight Aug:   One member paid their dues (cash), received Money for our
participation at Marin county fair, Supplies purchased for Fair, (prior
board approval obtained).   CD matured and interest rolled into new five
month maturity.

Request a motion/Vote for approval of reports as presented.
