[board] Hive dive 7/13. 5:30 pm

Good morning-

We conducted a hive dive at Carol’s property yesterday in Petaluma. She has 4 active hives in varying stages of development. 
Mite washes and hive maintenance was conducted and discussed. Three hives with no mites (actually 1 mite) so we also treated with Oxalic strips as continued maintenance.
Thank you Carol for lending us your apiary for a few hours for a hands on class on hive inspections. 

We are sorry that you missed the demonstration. Are you still interested in attending a future hive dive? 

We will be sending out future dates soon along with member and host best practices. 
Thank you and see you at the Pot Luck at the Log Cabin on August 6th.
