[board] Please read and respond

Hi bee board,


I hope you are all doing well!

I am suggesting the following:


1.  Either Jim (as the comm guy) or Paul (as sec) send out an announcement/email on the Buzz and to all members (do all members receive the Buzz?) letting folks know that Robert decided not to become the club president or chair and that we have an open position.

I believe our bylaws state that we need to give folks 2 weeks notice before having an election.  Maybe we let them know tomorrow, then ask for nominations for president/chair at the same time?  Could voting happen July 24-27?

2.  And, if Paul were to become chair/president, then we would have an open secretary position.  But, we can’t advertise that until the president vote is complete.  

3.  So, suggesting that we may want to wait for our retreat.  It would be good to have the new secretary and the chair there, as well as Tom.  What do you think?  Mid-August?  Nothing is really pressing before then.
