For folks that dont have the time for the training, or don't want to spend the $, but are interested, you can google how to use an epi pen, aed, do cpr, etc, and there are plenty of videieio's around. No, you wont have a certified card, and it's good stuff to be familiar with, along with what's coverd as a "good samaritan" Sierra Salin

Good evening,
A correction to my previous email regarding the November 5 training: The trainer has informed me that the original course fee was quoted incorrectly. The correct cost is $150 per person, payable directly to the trainer via PayPal.
I apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding.
Thank you,
Paul

Good evening,
There have been several discussions at our association meetings regarding Epi-Pens and the importance of being prepared in the event someone experiences a serious allergic reaction to a bee sting.
We will be offering training in Epi-Pen administration, CPR, and AED use on November 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the Log Cabin in San Anselmo.
The training will help participants understand how to respond appropriately in an emergency, including when someone may need an Epi-Pen. It will also cover the relevant Good Samaritan protections for individuals who provide emergency assistance, as discussed during the training.
The cost is $90 per person, payable directly to the trainer via PayPal.
We encourage interested members to take advantage of this opportunity to build their knowledge and confidence in responding to a medical emergency in our beekeeping community.
If you are interested please reply directly to paul at marinbees.org and I will send you more detailed information and reserve a spot for you.
Best regards,
Paul
