[board] 2 important, timely items!!

Hi bee board,

I hope you are all well!

I agree with Gary that we should send an email through the Buzz letting folks know where we are with the elections.  

What did we agree to do about the secretary position?  Is David interested?  We need to have a new election, right?  Let’s send the election info in the same email.  

Maybe something like:
	Hi MCBA. We wanted to update you on our process to choose a new club president.  We have one great nominee (nominated by a couple people), Paul Reulbach.
	Unless someone else would like to nominate themselves before Sunday, 8/17, the board is very happy to have Paul Reulbach as club president. 
	
	And, because Paul is currently the MCBA secretary, we are looking for nominations for our new secretary.  Please nominate people by ____________ (date) so voting can 	happen ____________ 

Questions:

1. Do we really need to wait 2 weeks before the secretary vote?  If so, I suggest we give folks a 3-day voting window.

We have 2 new RETREAT date options.  But, we want the new secretary to be there, so if the election process takes more than a week, one option (8/20) won’t work.
Is everyone available Tuesday, September 1st??
