We would welcome you as a member. Annual dues are $20, and membership benefits include:
- Free admission to our monthly meetings where we have speakers among the foremost bee experts in the country (normally a $10 donation);
- Subscription to our BUZZ email listserv which is where we converse online about beekeeping in Marin
- Subscription to our SWARMS email listserv which is where we notify members of any swarms that need hiving
- Subscription to our BeeLegal email listserv which is where we are working to make beekeeping legal across Marin
- Use of the Club’s extractors, electric uncapping knives, wax-melter, embedding tool, and other beekeeping equipment
- Free subscription to the Marin Beekeepers Newsletter (multiple times a year)
- Preferred registration for beekeeping workshops and special events
Meetings:
Meetings are held on the first Thursday evening of each month (September thru June) at 7:30pm at the American Legion Log Cabin (20 Veterans Blvd.) in San Anselmo.
There is no meeting in July as we have a major exhibit and presentation at the Marin County Fair.
In lieu of a meeting in August is a pot luck social with no speaker.
